Psychic Warriors
At an old temple situated between several mountains....
As the sun was setting soon, there was a display of the shadows of the mountains being cast upon the other mountains.
"Boo... Kensou brother, I just can't seem to perform the Psycho Ball Attack anymore..."
"Don't worry Bao, I believe you will go through this obstacle soon." While grabbing food with his chopsticks, Bao still felt like crying and Kensou was trying his best to console him.
"But Kensou brother... You have difficulty in executing the Psycho Ball too right?"
"Ah. That hurts to hear that. Bao, why don't we train together then?"
"Yeah... Let's do it!"
"Yes, this is the correct attitude!"

Although Kensou was smiling as he said these, he was still feeling very uncomfortable deep inside him. ("Will I never be able to restore my psychic powers again?")
"Athena, one more bowl of rice!"

Late at night, after Kensou and Bao went to bed, Athena and Chin were talking.
"Master, what should we do about Kensou's and Bao's current situation?" "Hmmm..." Chin thought deeply as he was drinking his cup of tea. "That time... When Kensou and Bao contacted each other, I saw the psychic powers being shot up to the sky. That time, I thought their psychic powers would balance up..."
Chin continued, "However, Bao lost his Psycho Ball Attack and Kensou didn't get back his powers either... Did Kensou really absorb Bao's powers into his body? If so, how come Kensou is unable to get back his psychic powers? Really difficult to understand why..."
Finally, Chin said to Athena, "Sigh... I don't think I will find an answer just by thinking. Isn't this a blessing already, as long as they are happy as it is?"

"Psycho Ball Attack!" Kensou's hands started to feel hot. Maybe he could succeed this time?
As the palms got hotter and hotter, a spherical energy ball started to form.
"You are wonderful, Kensou brother!"
Perhaps due to Bao's encouragement, the spherical ball started to grow in size.

("Oh? Was my Psycho Ball so large before?") Just as Kensou was thinking about this, the spherical ball already left his hands and flew towards a big tree, knocking it down with a loud thud!

As Bao turned around and said, "Kensou brother? Was that really your powers?"
But all Bao saw was a Kensou lying flat on the ground.

"So... Kensou got back this ability again..." Athena said, as he was looking at the sleeping Kensou.

Standing by her side, Chin was recollecting what had happened this morning.

("Only when Kensou was very exhausted, will the Psycho Ball appear. Or does this mean that his psychic powers are hidden deep inside his subconsciousness? Bao's powers may be contained in Kensou too...")

Chin then suddenly exclaimed, "Okay! Instead of struggling for an answer, we will just participate in this year's KOF tournament!"

"Huh? But master, Kensou is in such a condition and Bao's psychic powers have yet to be restored..."
"Precisely. That's why I am hoping that there will be some changes to their conditions during the tournament. Perhaps their conditions will turn better."
