BANE Huntress's thought's on the hole X thing, not all black and white.

I dont really know where to start, only being half way though *if that* the Manga, and I havent seen the Anime *and I dont think I will for a long time yet*. But I'm going to try and look at the pint's I see and I'm going to try and argu them out *how ever bad I do it.* so here we go...

The Wing's and the theary behind the hole X plot.

At the start of the Manga you are led to baleve *ie: This could just be a western thing,* that The 'KAMUI' with the feather wing's is the good one and the Bat's winged "Kamui" is the bad one, (refrans to Katoris dream in Part 6 vol 6, were she runnes to the featherd image of 'KAMUI' only to find out that it's the bad "KAMUI' and the good one, or the 'Kamui' she know's, has the bat's wing's). But in said refrans we find out that that isnt the case.

But just resantly I've read the Translations for the Manga so far *I said I wouldnt but I couldnt help myself*, And this is my theary at what is going on.

Kamui is told that he is the 'Dragon of heaven' and in so doing he must verchaly stop the earth from chainging for it's the only way he can stop the one's he love's from being killed, which is all well and good, and being human it's what we all would probably do... On the other hand Fumma 'KAMUI' is the one who is verchaly the harbinger of earth, for the earth want's chaing, and as far as I can gather, Human's have nothing to do with it's futcher.

Being an ex-Greenpeace freek myself, I see the other side of it all, and probably what CLAMP is getting at. Kamui is atchely the bad guy in this, *You'll probably hate me for this, but hear me out*, and Fumma the good guy... As far as the Earth is conserned we humans have been squandering her resourses long enough and as the dinasours, we must face the fact that the Earth has had enough of us. So Fumma is achelly the good guy as far as the earth and the ecolagy is conserned and that's why I think he has the feather wing's. But Kamui in aposing him is leaving thing's stagnen, to go on as they alway's have, yes he is protecting people he love's but the same people are also damiging the earth.

Ya all right, Fumma is a bit of a git. killing people off horribly and being a jenral bastard, but he's only culling the numbers 'as it wher'. If all the humans suddenly died is it really a bad thing?. no more polution, no more nuclea waist, no more using up all the natural resourses, explaind this way can you really see a folt?
But then again, on the othere hand. Could you imagen willingly leting all the peole you loved, cared for, all your friend's die?... naturaly we would do anything we could to provent that. To be honist I can see why Kamui is dithering about making a choice. I'd be hard pressed to make it. Eather he waches his friend's die and the earth recover, OR, he let's his friend's live and watches the earth die slowly... hmm... Not so easy now is it?

Bane's final thought's

To be quite honist I wish I'd never read the translations now, It all seem's to 'Friend's of the Earth', Greenpease' for me. It was showing so much prospect's as a good old thriller, having you constantly on the edge of you seat all the way *and still is to where I'm up to*. But I dont know. I think I've been disapointed, it just better have a really good ending or I'm not going to be impressed!

But if you thnk I'm not a true otaku of X then... I've been colecting the X tittal now for over six year's, It leaves me gasping for the next issue all the time, and if I see it in a shop I'm usualy so exited I feel sick, And befor now I've spent my last 3 "English" pound's 50 pense on AE and gone hungry for a fourtnight befor now because I've spent my last penny on it. So dont dout my faith, if anything I love the art work, I just dont want to be let down...
