Columns of marble placid cracked stones,
standing so stern with a mystery they hold,
This monument of eternal age.

With a transparent blue sky around this base,
of rocky velvet stones surrounding this place.
With a full moon that sets the stage.

As night air captures its bellowed soft clouds,
we see this monument on an island up above.
With a forest behind its walls.

On a small nestled pond where a King once layed,
this mansion of solitude did grace his face.
His spirit at times does call.

They say that a King a man of such pride,
he lived in this castle for years then died.
His honor was respected with love.

After many a battle he built several tributes,
for soldiers that fought in wars of dispute.
they were known for the battles they've won.

As time passed on the gods then did grant,
to the king and his soldiers to float on land.
To look down as spirits of good.

Now they say if you look at the darkness of night,
you can see this island of a lavender light.
In the stars of the great Orion.

If you see a shooting star in the path of this way,
it may be the sprinkling of the pounds dripping grace,
To remind us of what good they have done.

A temple of the Gods with pools of morning dew
stardust overflowing sparkling amongst the blue
beams shining brightly off the moon and stars
island drifting above the clouds past Jupiter and Mars.

All that is left of a land that once was part of earth
fairies and sprites danced around in gentle mirth
remnants of lavendar and greenery from the trees
the scent of wild flowers still lingers in the breeze.

Gods of love and romance refill the pools by day
gathering energy from the sun before they stop to play
island floating in the sky now ready to take flight
leaving trails of moondust as it travels through the night.

Reflections from the temple can be seen within the moon
on clear nights if you listen you'll swear you hear a tune
so faint that you'll wonder if the music is truly there
this night you fall in love when the magic fills the air.

Stars are shining brightly as far as our eyes can see

you took my heart...of all places within
temptation, painting my blue skies pink
across the rafters of such hidden despair

I called for you...but you were not there
you did not come...so I searched for you..

you were outside..painting..all those emotions

my blue skies pink..for I wanted then, as I do now.

I wanted you...beyond the gates that locked us apart
reach for me..through the painted zones of our yesterdays..
let go..of our mistakes...create for me..a safe place to stand
and not become..a illusion of color drying in the moonlight

for across the waters that separate us..there is a love floating
in those waters...of spent emotions..so rich so tinted..all shades
of color..the closet to a rainbow we shall ever know..is the colors
that ream from our love ever so true..it is now..not then..
