The edges blur

The resurrection of the sea
lays within the stormy cloud
Reflecting bits of salty tears
rejoicing thunderously loud
The winds encircle cloud and sea
as sunlight dwindles down
Condensing recollections of
the life to which we're bound
Waves leap up to offer more
and sacrifice their tears
For what is given is returned
as it has thru all the years
The warming sun, it does give way
to the rising, cooling moon
To change the tempo of the air
so the tides of life rise soon
Give and take is nature's way
as it is with life and death
And from the darkness comes the light

I dream of blending blue skies.
A vision of a Regal Robe.
A horizon's hemline, of soft pastels,
Leading to a neckline,
Covered in Royal Blue.
White clouds surround a face,
As softness caresses silk.
A face that was once my warmth.
A loving glow, never was it less,
Than the light of a worshipped sun.
Eyes so filled with life,
When tears would fall, they kissed,
A smile of a heart's touch.
Leaving words of love upon thee lips,
My ears still hear their whispers.
...When my eyes are closed.

When my eyes are open.
Reality becomes my horizontal view.
Grays blending into darkness.
Impassive storms taking away,
Your Regal Robe of blue.
Long ago tears of joy,
Become mere sheets of rain,
Cooling thy comforting warmth.
Constrictive dark clouds,
Hide your struggling light.
A loving face becomes a blur.
This storm fills my ocean,
With rains of sorrow and pain.

Consequently it is plane to see.
Which view of my eyes ,I care to be.

I shuffle back emotions
as the angry skies fall through
dark and murky waters.

Knuckled under a pressure pot of stress
Swirled within ribbons of ebony silk.
Before the disparaging shadows
take me under siege,
burrowing deep into my unguarded soul.

I find myself just within harms way
beyond the veil of foolish pride
amidst a sea of mediocre complacency.
Content to lay dormant
self assured, confidant
oblivious to the internal turmoil.

Lost under overcast skies
alluded in a false
placid harbor.

I can feel the other side...

The Clouds Appear in the Sky
They Fill my Mind With
Droplets of Confusion
I hold off Making a Decision

Different Paths Branch out of my mind
Like Limbs in a Tree
Shall I go this way or That
All the Choices Seem so Wrong

My Stomach flutters
Like Water Droplets in a Cloud
They go This Way and That
Without having an Intended Direction

And Finally the Chaos Relents
The Cloud can no Longer Contain the Confusion
The Water Droplets Begin to Align
With Full Cooperation the Storm Begins

The sun sets,
not over the horizon,
but over a love,
thought to last forever,
like a shattered cup of tea,
the words I don't want to hear,
come spilling out of her mouth,
"Lets be friends" she says,
knowing full well,
that we'll probably,
never see each other again,
I return,
to the spot were I drown my pain,
lock it away,
in a fortress of solitude,
where I hope it will go away,
 where I hope it will die like a  prisoner,
imprisoned for too long,
but instead it festers,
it eats away at my soul,
tearing holes in my heart,
I sit in a corner,
trying to think,
of what I did wrong,
I gave her all the love I had,
but it still wasn't good enough,
 I see her in my dreams,
but that only makes the pain worse,
I become enraged,
not at her,
but at myself,
for not figuring out,
what I did wrong,
so I sit,
pondering,
waiting,
trying to weather the storm,
and time only will tell,
when I'll explode.

The river inside my soul
Has reached its full of tears
Storms have come and gone

Life is funny
you always sense the storm
before you see it

Emotions ebb and flow as tornadic clouds roil and churn,
blocking out a broken heart's pain, akin to the sunset which burns.
Deluge of tears pelt down onto rolling tidal waves,
burying each wound amidst a watery grave.
Swelling ocean of turmoil rocks to and fro violently,
dazzling light burst forth from the soul, fighting valiantly.
Fire cleansed soul glows unearthly bright,
deep, deep within, the pain, blankets all light.
As raging tempest blows in, threatening gentle heart,
cool wind from the heavens forces the siege apart.

Slowly the sun sets behind the horizon
As storm clouds gather, mesmerizing
The surf beats against the shore
Makes one thinks of old folklore
Red sky at night, a sailors delight
Red sky morning, a sailors warning
On the surface of the ocean

The sky up above is like another room
Where the sky meets the ocean
The skies are darkest gray
A glow hovers above the clouds
A reflection of the suns rays
Gazing into the storm of life with my fears
Sometimes, even shedding tears
Above the clouds the sun shines bright
The mere vision of which calms my fright
Fear of things I do not know
A time to calm down and take it slow
And just as the storm clouds release the rain
A signal that life will start over and over again
The time has come to release my pain
As the waves pound against the beach
All things important seem just beyond my reach

As it descends in the west, night has begun
Blanketing the water the clouds hide the light
Of the transition from day into night
Watching it happen, of what do you think
As the day's provider of light begins to sink

From the dark of night and storm filled skies
Comes the dawn and light as we watch the sun arise
With a horizon that water and wave mark the skyline
Be it all the world is now awash with this murky brine
Forty days and forty nights the heavens shed their tears
Forty days and nights we lived with our building fears
But on the forty first day golden light and skies of blue
Set free our souls as our wishes for an end had come true
Washed away was the ill will of man and the things he might do
And a new path for man to follow was laid in place for review
Never will we need to fear our neighbor or fellow man again
Because cleansed from our heart, mind and souls was all sin
We dare not look back on the life and ways we have left behind
