Method

  1. Put on apron, wash hands and table, get out equipment and ingredients.
  2. Put on oven Gas5/190° C
  3. Put the flour into the mixing bowl, add the margarine and rub it in, using your finger tips.  When the mixture looks like breadcrumbs, stir in two table spoons of sugar.
  4. Cut the apples into 4 - remember to use chopping board, peel and remove the core.  Cut the apples into slices and put them into the oven proof dish.  Place the drained tin of fruit in to a dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining sugar over the apple then cover with the crumble mixture.  Add 4 tablespoons of fruit juice to the tinned fruit.
  6. Place the ovenproof dish on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 40 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Wash and tidy up.  Remember to empty the bin and clean the floor.

Check that all the equipment has been put away in the correct place.
