CHANCE MEETING
Years ago they were mere chum
And fell in love
Then because one word so dumb
They fell out of love
A child was born
He never knew his daughter
Then he became torn
And fell heels over for her
How he loved her
The one he loved he later learnt
Was his own daughter
She was torn apart and got burnt
Like a smitten dove
Suspecting t' was an incestuous matter
Her husband made love
To their one beloved only dear daughter
But the daughter had no clue
And as fate would often have it
She died before she knew
The mother felt unclean and unfit
She want to lead him to the slaughter
How can they face one another
Life was so unfair to know the daughter
Was the wife of her lover.
