New Product Opportunities Identification Process New products are a key component of future product growth extending the Gynofem brand name beyond feminine production into a women's health and wellness franchise (Kotler327-364). Perhaps if RelEVE Inc. introduced new products such as an ovulation/pregnancy kit or contraceptive or STD prevention device, it could increase positive brand recognition and increase brand shelf presence. However, Mrs. Bowing feels that this question is not applicable for the company at this moment and the issue will to be addressed sometime in the future after the company is well established. As mentioned earlier, RelEVE is still in the introductory phase of their business and new product development and promotion is not currently funded but she is optimistic. What are the Company's Processes for Determining Ideas to Implement? RelEVE does not currently support a developed systematic process for determining ideas to implement. Right now, the company's sole purpose is to maintain a steady pulse and prevent an early demise. RelEVE has to rely on outside sources to determine their processes. As of this moment, they have hired an outside marketing agency to create a marketing plan that will put RelEVE in contention among its' many competitors. They have also hired couple of firms to launch market studies in order to determine the demographics of the typical user. RelEVE's financial supporters have appointed new management to make decisions in order to continue the company's survival (RelEVE 2002).
