CORE
BLIMEY GREG
09/01/03
Greg
Martin will no longer present the Morning Show on Core due to a change in the
GWR digital channel budget. All presenters remaining at The Mix and Core are
working for free and they simply voice-track their
programmes. At all other times Core Non-Stop is broadcast without any
presenters. Greg has said that although he is 100% behind Core, he cannot
continue at the station as it would clash with him being on air at Broadland, he
also added that the fact that the job no longer paid his bills was a factor too!
THE
JONO INTERVIEW
07/01/03
If you
want to know what really goes on at Broadland 102 who do you ask? The listeners?
The person who makes the tea? The Cleaners...? No, you go straight to the people
who make the station what it is, the presenters! So, I put a number of questions
to Broadland 102's Jono Abel recently and the answers may surprise you! After
reading the interview you'll know exactly why Jono Abel, A lewd act involving a
Champagne bottle and an adult toy have an interesting link! See
the full interview here
ALMOST
AN EXCLUSIVE!
05/01/03
A
new programme launches soon on Broadland 102 on a Saturday evening to replace
Greg Martin's Networked Request Fest. Core Dance will be on air from 6pm until
1am. I contacted Greg to ask if he'll be on air on Saturdays from now on and he
has stated that he will be a part of Core Dance but that he can't reveal exactly
what... the tension is unbearable!!
SCHEDULE
INFORMATION
02/01/03

back on the Mix Network from 7pm each weeknight and Graham Torrington will be

HAPPY
NEW YEAR
01/01/03
Happy
New Year to all visitors of Unofficial Broadland 102! I assume most of you are
nursing hangovers but remember it's the top 100 of 2002 today on Broadland
102! Also, before you leave please sign the new Guest book by clicking the link
to the right!
PS:
Just a quick notice; I posted a news article a week or so ago stating that
Louise Pierson would be on air presenting a show. I was in fact getting her
muddled up with Nicky the Black Thunder Girl for some reason. She presented a
successful Morning Crew show over Christmas! Thanks to Greg Martin for
sorting that out!
REQUESTS,
REQUESTS, REQUESTS
27/12/02
The
Christmas schedule this year consisted almost entirely of a 2-day request fest
marathon! Chris Watson made an appearance on both Christmas & Boxing day
with the network taking over in the afternoon and evening. The one programme
which aired as usual was the Broadland 102 Morning Crew. Rob and Chrissie were
in the studio on Christmas morning with and excellent show as always! Tune in
tomorrow to the Morning Crew as Nicola the Black Thunder girl is in for
Chrissie... should be interesting!
