In the 23rd minute the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending and František Bruha put the ball away for 0 - 1. Suffolk´s Michael MacCulloch made it through the home teams defence in the 32nd minute, and had only to place the ball in an unguarded goal when the home side´s defender sprang up from the left, clearing the ball on the line. 55 minutes into the game Diddy broke through on the left wing and Kirk Dis managed to reduce the lead to 2 - 3. As usual, Daniel Crookshanks tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard this day and he couldn´t keep the pace at all. Mitchell MacKinning had a hard, curved free kick in the 61st minute that would have paid off, had it gone just a little lower. Ciaran MacRuer came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Jan-Piet Lardinois, hitting the bar. Suffolk held the ball, with a clear 66 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Diddy player was without a doubt Airlie Murchie. Hamish MacKechnie was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Suffolk player was without a doubt Giliian O'May. Luke Ross on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 3.
