Geri Halliwell's list of achievements in her solo career so far:
1. Sacks her manager.
2. Gets grief from mental health charity MIND for title of album
"Schizophrenic" which was changed to "Schizophonic"... MIND were
still not entirely happy.
3. "Look at me" fails to get to number 1 (didn't Flat Beat get there
instead?).
4. Despite 2 million quid in promotion, the album sells around 17,000
in the first week... expected sales were 100,000.
5. As a UN "Goodwill Ambassador" she gets more grief from Singapore
religeous leaders for giving a speech advocating birth control
(it's a mainly Catholic country... did no-one tell her?).
6. The speech was in English, which none of the listeners present
could understand...
7. The Archbishop of Manila accused Geri of "Blasphemy" for appearing
as a nun in the "Look at me" video.
8. She ignored the local press at the airport and at a welcoming
ceremony.
Makes Prince Phillip look like a good diplomat.
