I was searching for someone but I couldn't find anyone 
I was discouraged and depressed but I kept on thinking it was only a test 
My heart was shattered and the pieces were scattered 
I felt all alone, I was on my own 
 
These things I felt and I thought I'd melt 
Until I found someone; someone who would be my loved one 
 
Just as I thought my life would soon end; now I think it would never really end 
From the very moment I saw you; I knew it would be you 
From then on I kept on thinking only about you, you and you 
 
You're kind and thoughtful, never forgetful 
You made me smile not for a while but 'till a mile 
You're sweet and loving and of course caring 
No question, you are my inspiration 
 
These things about you and how I feel for you are true

Someone special, 
Someone sweet, 
Someone who means a lot to me. 
 
When I first saw him. 
I thought, "Hey, he's cute." 
He also looked like someone I could talk to. 
 
Did not know him. 
Did not know who he was, 
But I knew I was in love. 
 
He would be there 
Day and night. 
He'd be there to hold me tight. 
 
He holds me close. 
He holds me near. 
When he holds me, I have no fear. 
 
I love him so. 
I love him a lot.
