The Moon on a Dark Night 
 
Remember that night? 
That night, when you looked me in 
the eyes and told me that everything 
would be alright. 
 
You said that you would always be there, 
that you loved me, and would always care. 
You were the one I was going to stay with forever 
You would not leave me...never. 
It was in you, that I would always confide. 
Not knowing that I was going to be denied. 
We had hopes and dreams 
but they all fell apart at the seams. 
 
She is the one that you now hold tight, 
on that cold and lonely night. 
There is now someone else you love and care for. 
Even though you know that it is you 
that I still love and adore. 
 
She now feels your tender kiss, 
the one that I long for and miss. 
I pray each and every night to the good lord above 
that you will once again find me as the only one you truely love. 
 
Please come back to me and stand by my side. 
We can forget and overcome the times we have 
hurt each other and lied. 
If you come back to me, I will hold you close and never 
let you out of my sight 
Because our love would forever glow like a moon 
on a dark night.

I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME

I Had to Say Good-Bye 
 
That day i was so confused 
I had no idea what to do 
I chose to follow my heart 
And now i find us apart 
But I am happy now 
I hope you are too some how 
But as the sun goes down at night 
I pray that you are all right 
And as the sun rises in the day 
I know that your okay 
Because I see you happy 
 
But that is only on the out side 
I know the tears your trying to hide 
I have felt your pain before 
But i still think I was hurt more 
Because i care for you 
And to hurt you, hurt me too 
I didn't mean to hurt you so bad 
If I knew, I wouldn't have 
And what I did, I had to pay 
And i still hurt till this day 
I have felt that pain you fell 
And at first you probly didn't think it was real 
And you probly prayed it wasn't 
 
But you will find someone new 
Someone who will care, and love you too 
But even though we are apart 
You will always be in my heart 
And you should know i will always be there for you 
When times are happy, or times are blue 
I'll always remember you, Justin Tackett 
And our relationship, I'll always miss it 
But i will remember you as a loving and caring guy 
But for now i have to say good-bye 
I just wanted to say i am sorry 
And i hope you will forgive me. 
 
I dedicate this poem to justin tackett because i broke his heart and 
dumped him for another guy, and then realized i loved him too, and I 
ended up losing both of them in the end.
