     My Dark Love 
      (a Vampire poem) 
 
Ever since being born to darkness, I've never seen a sunrise 
‘till you came into my life and filled me with eternal light. 
Although we're oceans apart, you're with me always, 
every waking moment, filling every dream. 
 
Your love has stopped the weeping of my soul 
and changed my blood red tears in tears of laughter 
How I long to hold you close to me, skin touching skin, 
lips touching lips, love touching love. 
 
I can only imagine the sweet perfume of your hair 
and the warmth of your body next to mine. 
I want to feel your blood flowing through my veins, 
filling my senses with your passion and my lungs with your breath. 
 
I can't save you from my damnation, but just let go 
and let me take you to extreme exctasy. 
Let me make you scream but not of pain, 
feel me, hold me, let me show you my eternal love 
 
Let me cradle your body in my arms, 
feel my power flowing deep inside you 
Then fall asleep, close your eyes 
and listen to our hearts beat as one

My mind goes blank 
And my heart beats a little faster 
I get a foolish grin on my face

Sitting here in a daze
