What is it to love someone? There
is no single answer for all I
can do is tell you what it means
to me. If I were to write a letter to
the one I love it would go something
like this.........
I want to love every part of you,
to know everything about you;
what makes you smile, every untamed
emotion, what you were like as a child.
I want to snuggle up next to you
and learn all about you. I want
to curl up next to your voice and
be there for all the times when you
felt so all alone, to hold you
and kiss your tears and tell you all the
loving things you should have been
told. I will whisper each of them
into your ear over and over again
until you really believe and know
that life has changed for the better.
I want to fly with you and fall
for you and walk with you across
the bridges and along the edges,
would lay my world down for you right
here and now just to look into
your eyes forever.
I adore you, for you are the heart
of my heart, the very soul of my
soul, a miracle of
life to me, the greatest treasure of my life. Let
me show you how precious
you are. It took so long to find you but you
were so worth waiting
for, a priceless gift from God above to this
thankful and weary
heart. You have the heart of gold that I had given
up finding and now
that you are here I don't ever want to let you go.
I want to spend the rest of my life
sharing your dreams and
celebrating you....
celebrating us.
Let us share each others hopes
and dreams, joys and trials. For
together we can do anything that
we decide to do.
I want to find out what makes you
happiest and please you so much
that you can barely stand it. This
is the kind of love that makes you
so happy it is almost painful,
and what a wonderful pain that would be.
Much better than the pain we have
both felt in the past. For now we
can start over together, make a
new life for each other. Any pain that
we have now will be ours and we
can share it together.
There are so many people who have
come and gone through the
pathways of my life. But never
anyone like you, the way you make my
heart beat, the way you know my
very thoughts before I speak them. I
want to live only for you, and
for God who made us and brought us together.
My wish is not to hold you back
or to keep you to myself and
smother you. Oh no, I want to listen
to your hopes and dreams and help
you to realize every one of them.
I want to do everything with you,
we share so many common
interests it is almost unbelievable.
If we made a list of everything
we enjoy together it would stretch
from here to there with no problem.
I think we were made for each other.
It took a lifetime to find each
other, I guess we had to go through
a lot to be prepared for us.
Let's share the fun times and the
not so fun times as well. No matter what
happens now it will be okay because
we will always be a part of each other.
You are so kind and gentle. I love
your voice, your chuckle, the
sound of your laughter, your sense
of humor, your serious side, and
even that mischievous side you
make sure to remind me of every so often.
I love your heart and the way that
you snuck up on me and
unlocked my passions and emotions
in the way that you did.
There is so much love and happiness
to be given and shared here.....
I just want to spend the rest
of my days pleasing you and loving and living in your
arms and in your eyes.... I love
you.
