What you left me
In the pitch black sky
There is only one star I see
To others they may appear as
specks of
Glowing splint
But to me
It means more than what others
think
Of all the stars in the sky
I only see one
That stays twinkling in my
eyes
Constantly shining down
That one different from all
the others is
Filled with warmth and love
Sending me sense of security
when you’re not here
I pretend that is you
Looking down on me
Watching over me
every minute
Every second that I’m not with
you
How I always reminisce of the
times
When you were here
Smiling and talking.
Again I tell myself,
I’ll see u soon
But the feeling of anxiety
takes over my mind
Not able to think of anything
else
Just the fact that I’m here
and you’re there.
Finding true love was hard,
But ever since I’ve met you
My life was never empty like
before
Instead it was filled with
endless joy
But people say life is never
perfect
So whenever I wish you were
here
I remind myself
As long as I have you
My life will always be complete
I don’t know what made me fall
for you
Maybe it were your eyes
You love or
Was it your tenderness
Who knows?
But all I know is now I have
you,
And there is nothing I want
more.
