The Review  7/10

Usually parking is no problem as there are spaces in front and around the pub.  We got out and entered through the side entrance and made our way through to the lounge.  A lot of regulars are here and the football is on a TV and dodgy look projector.

We order our food, along with a couple of pints of Stella, waiting to be fed.  It isn't uncommon for this to literally take a couple of hours.  Today it was around 20 minutes.  If you turn up after 1pm then plan on being there till about 3:30pm

The meal arrived on  a oval plate and was well laid out.  A couple of roasts, a couple of big boiled potatoes, veg, a slither (sorry slice) of beef and gravy.  Oh and only one Yorkshire pudding.

We waited for the Mint sauce but eventually had to go and get it ourselves.  It is the only one, of course, that isn't on the tray with all the other sauces on, which was right at the other side of the pub.  No, I would have to ask again for some green miracle sauce.  A minute later I was given a small dish with an even smaller amount of sauce in it.

Little did we know that across the country, hillsides wear bear from growing mint.  There must of been a mint crisis that no-one had told me about.  I could only hope one of the people back at my table knew the hotline number to ring so I could donate. Quickly.

Eventually, after we had each gotten up to get some mint sauce, we ate our meals.  They tasted great and to say, no thanks to the splurge of mint sauce I got, that everything was cooked to perfection just doesn't carry that taste that we all got from eating of meals.

We each finished it saying Hmmmmmmmmm more.

All in all not too bad.  Fantastic food let down only by the quantity.  Still if you aren't that hungry, then give me one of your roast potatoes ! In the summer you can sit outside and they even have a bouncy castle (usually the little kids are on it but if your lucky you might get a go).

The tip : Make extra Yorkshire puddings available.  Free the Mint Sauce.

Don't order anything else on a Sunday, it takes hours !!!!

Full Factor 6/10 It was nice, now give me 2 more !!
