The Review 0/10
Risking our very lives driving over one of those amazingly narrow bridges in the country side, or rather just by the Leeds & Liverpool canal, I drove and turned into the car park. Big, Spacious. The very thing a good pub with a fantastic cavalry requires.
Today parking was unusually easy and I parked right by the pub. My friend and I got out the car and were immediately blown, by gale force winds that could blow your big fancy ship across the great Indian Oceans, to the side door of the pub. We entered and looked at cavalry area to find an empty stove !!!
Ah well, it's only 12pm maybe it's on it's way out. Yes, of course. We asked the chef who came out of the kitchen and as it turned out, there was no cavalry today.
Shit.
With that we spent 25 minutes walking back to the car and went to the Weld Blundell instead.
