When you're not in Frank Eddy's enjoying the craic there's lots more to do and see around the surrounding area.

Blacklion is less than 10 miles from the beautiful Marble Arch caves which offers guided tours through a laberenth of stunning tunnels and caverns. Included in the tour is a short boat trip (weather permitting) and information on the formation of the caves and their features.A must for all families visiting the area.
It is advisible to wear warm clothes as it is usually cooler underground.

The area is rich in fishing waters. The village of Blacklion is suituated on the MacNean river between two lakes, upper and lower Loch MacNean all are great coarse fishing waters. If you wish to go further afield Loch Melvin has excellent Trout and Salmon to be caught.
Loch MacNean is also an excellent location for water sports. There is parking, changing, picknick and boating facilities about a mile outside the village. Taking place during the first two weeks in July are swimming lessons for both adults and children from beginner upwards with a National Saftey Council of Ireland badge to be earned on completion of tests.
If golf is your game half a mile outside the town on the shores of Loch MacNean lies the very well kept Blacklion golf club with stunning views overlooking the lake its a must for all golfers. Tel:(072) 53024
The town of Belleek is a short drive from Blacklion and is home of the world famous Belleek Pottery where one can buy or just have a look around at the hand crafted creations.
