"Hit" and "Stand" mean just that. "Double Down" is an opportunity to increase your bet and receive one new card. You may Double Down on any first two cards and after Splits. Resplits are not allowed. Split Aces get one card only.

Insurance may be taken when the dealer has an Ace up. It costs 1/2 of your original bet. If you take it and the dealer makes blackjack, you tie. For any value less than 10, you lose the insurance bet.
