Possibly not the most glamourous of motor industry opportunities, but squeegee merchant, Ally Ross, has a different view. I used to earn £180 a week as a mechanic, but now I earn £150 per day and drive a pukka Beemer. Its not all good, though, according to Ally: I have to put up with drivers attempting to run me over, violent threats from other squeegee gangs, and increasing amounts of aggro from the old Bill.
