Others may disagree, but we think that Turkish is a difficult language to learn if you come from an English-speaking background -- as we do. The vocabulary is hard to remember (and can be ambiguous) The word order in sentences is backwards to English, and The way of expressing actions and ideas takes getting used to Then...how can we make it "entertaining" to learn, you ask? Well for one thing... at the Learning Practical Turkish Web site, we'll give you the chance to hear the Sounds of Specialty Turkish -- not just read, what some might call, our dry text.
