| Amitabh to star in 'Baba': The latest buzz about Baba is that there are plans to make 'Baba' a trilingual film. The film is also being made in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. Following the tactic to pull in the film going crowd of other states there are plans to rope in Amitabh Bachan to draw the Bollywood fans and Mohan Babu for the Telugu film goers. Both of them appear in a guest appearance role in the film 'Baba'. |
Prabhu Deva haunted by his past
With all the breaks and moves in his dance, this dance choreographer
turned actor is certainly not having things moving his way in his
personal life. While his brother Raju Sundaram is having his own
problems and issues to settle with, Prabhu Deva is getting tangled
and twisted in the web of his past. It is a known fact that he got
married to a junior dance artiste, Ramlat much against his father's
wishes when he was shooting to fame. Though he was living with his
wife and son initially the actor never admitted the fact that he got
married. He recently had paid a huge compensation and an out of
court settlement with his wife. So while Prabhu Deva was wallowing
once again in his bachelor pad, Ramlat is back again for more like
'Shylock', not for a portion near his heart though but rather a huge
amount from the wallet which lies in his pocket relatively close to
his heart.

Prakash Raj opts out of 'Baba'
While Baba is busy practicing stunt scenes with one hand, an
experienced hand at acting has chosen to drop himself out of the
movie. Prakash Raj who was booked initially to play the role of the
Chief Minister in the movie opted himself out. He was initially
narrated a role in the film. Finally when the shooting for his role
started he landed up three days in the shooting with no scenes about
him ever being shot. Infuriated he went and questioned the director
Suresh Krishna who said that his role is still in the making
process. With precious time in his career being wasted he went to
Rajinikanth and excused himself out of the movie as he had other
movies in other languages to attend too. Nasser was approached for
the role, which Prakash Raj was supposed to play. Nasser agreed
immediately and the shooting for Baba is happening at full swing in
Mysore now.

Simran leaving for good?
The slimmest and one of the sexiest heroines in town who has been
giving a lot of men sleepless nights is now having sleepless nights
herself because of personal and professional problems that are
hounding ever since a little before the suicide of her sister Monal.
Simran who made her debut into Bollywood through 'Tere Mere Sapne'
entered the Tamil industry through the film "Poochudava"
with Abbas. She fell in love with the dance choreographer Raju
Sundaram. Both of them have also done a movie called "I love
you daa" but meanwhile according the grapevine buzz because
Raju Sundaram's Dad had refused to give the go-ahead nod for the
lovers she was almost about to say "I love you too" to
another hero. But ever since she came back from Canada and made
shocking accusations against Mumtaz, Monal's PRO Riyaz and Prasanna
(Monal's lover) she has been treated like an outcast in the film
circle. While the police has sent her summon her next sudden
decision was to quit acting in movies. She had vacated her place in
Chennai and moved back to Bombay. Simran's parents have started for
a prospective groom hunt process meanwhile. |
Rough weather for Revathy
It has really been bad days for Revathy from the time she started
directing the movie Mitr My Friend. During the shooting of the film
somebody robbed the digital lens, which was hired for that movie.
She had a tough time settling the amount for the hired digital lens,
which was nearly 45 lakhs, just the rent alone. The movie did not
yield the expected box office return though it was a good attempt in
her debut direction and it was a pleasurable movie to watch. Now in
the meantime misunderstanding has brewed between Suresh Menon and
Revathy over the financial loss the movie has left them with. Now
they are contemplating about mutual separation without having to go
through the accusations couples leash at each other in the family
welfare court.
