Surjit Singh started playing Sarangi at the age of 15. He learned
‘Dilruba’ from Gurdev Singh & Ustad Harbhajan Singh Ji. On
perceiving his ability His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji sent him
to Pt. Ram Narayan & Pt. Hanuman Prashad Misra Ji, for
apprenticeship. He has played all over the world to the acclamation of
the experts.
