Israel

In 1988, we were fortunate enough to have a legacy that allowed us to go on this holiday of a lifetime , with our children. It was , really our last family holiday, so was a double blessing.

We didn't go on a package tour, but stayed in an hotel in Netanya, and did our touring on Egged buses, and in a hired car.

Our first impression of Israel was stepping out of the airport at Tel Aviv, to see Palm trees outlined against the night sky.(At teh time of writing this, my other half has mislaid the best photos, butI will scan what I have in, and addthe rest later).

As I'm revising thse pages at the moment, I thought I would add in a Bedouin camp fire story that we learned atthe Folk museum at Beer Sheba.
