AttractionsOn the 23 of September each year the local fiesta is held in the islands former capital Ciudadela. At other times of the year a bus runs every hour through the resort joining the western towns of Cala'n Bosch and Cala'n Forcat with the rest of the island. For the more energetic, Ciudadela is just about walkable at approx 2.1/2 miles for the resort. The "Aqua Rock" water park is nearby at Cala'n Bosch. Admission is a bit pricey at 14 Euro per adult and 7 Euro for a child for a full day, but after 3.30pm it does drop to 6 Euros per adults and 4 Euro for a child. They also charge an extra 3 Euro per sunbed once you are inside. A little to the north, on the road going into Cala'n Forcat, is the only other waterpark on the island. But don't expect to find anything that compares to either the Octopus Park in Tenerife or Aquacity in Mallorca, it's not that big and really wouldn't be of much interest to older children. However, the park is extremely clean, and the restaurant is good value. Admission is 8 Euros for children and 12.5 Euros for adults and children over 11. It opens at 10:30am each day and closes at around 6pm. For more information their telephone numbers are 971 38 87 05 or 971 38 82 51, or click here to visit their web site.
