Perhaps the biggest tourist attraction to Punta Prima is the lack of development and the fabulous sandy beach.

But eventually even doing nothing may loose its appeal. For those seeking attractions in the area a short distance inland takes you to the village of San Lluis, here you will find the Aero Club and Hippodrome. The facilities on site include a bar/restaurant, a karting track and leisure flights around the island. The Hippodrome next door has horse trotting races at the weekend.

San Lluis is home to one of the best nightclubs on the island called Luna, which is very popular with the young people from Mahon

Finally, the San Lluis fiesta also takes place during the last week in August every year.

For the more active the nearby resort of S'Algar may be the answer. This small town has possibly the best sporting facilities on the island and another disco bar called Colors which is open from midnight to 3am during the summer months.
