Is
That A Real One?

I
first saw this ute at Blenheim Palace in 1998 and was immediately
impressed with the understated look. The standard-looking
grey and the colour-coded Minilite wheels and the old-style
rear vision mirrors almost make you think that it's just a
standard Lowlight on mag wheels.
Take
a closer look and you realise that the grey paint is actually
metallic. Then you remember that there were no pickup Lowlights
ever made. Very subtle.
Under
the bonnet is a different matter though. A Ford 1600 crossflow
out of an Escort Mexico sits in the middle of a bright yellow
engine bay. It's not as pretty as the outside but it does
show that the car is used as it was meant to be.
