50th
Birthday Year
British Motor Heritage Museum
20 September 1998
50
years to the day since the Morris Minor first saw the light
of day at the Earls Court Motor Show. Over 200 Minors turned
up, although by the time I took these photos a number of them
had already left.
Inside
the museum there were a number of guest speakers, including
Jack Daniels who was responsible for creating the reality from
Alec Issigonis' imaginative designs.
It
was a good day - trade stands, lots of Minors, and good weather.
A damn sight better than the following
year!
