International Classic Car Show '98
7-8 November, 1998

The International Classic Car Show '98 was the venue for the final major UK event celebrating the 50th Birthday of Morris Minors. The MMOC put on a great display of some of the best original Minors in the Club, from lowlight tourers to late-model vans and pickups. The standard of display was excellent, the cars immaculately turned out. It's just a shame the photos don't show them up as well as I would have liked.

The MMOC regalia stand did a roaring trade from what I saw (and I did my bit to support the club by buying about 4 bags worth of goodies!). Jon Pressnell was there signing copies of his new book 'Morris Minor - Exploring the Legend'. The club's technical assistance guru and his computer were on hand to help the curious with mechanical questions and to show off the club's new graphical toy.

Apologies for the blurriness of some of these shots. The light was a bit too low for hand-held non-flash photography, and the flash wasn't strong enough to light up everything, so I settled for hand-held. Of course the hangover may have had something to do with it ...

There were more Minors at the show than any other marque/model.

Minor models were everywhere.
