Push-Me
Pull-You
Madcap
mechanic Paul Smith has built the perfect car for days when
you don't know if you are coming or going. Paul sliced two 1960
Minor 1000 saloons in half and welded the front halves together
to form this unique Push-Me Pull-You Minor. The car cost £5000
and two years to build, and is road legal and capable of 60mph.
The
"Morris 2000" has TWO steering wheels - only one of
which works - FOUR wing mirrors, TWO driving mirrors, TWO dashboards,
and TWO sets of gloveboxes and foot pedals.
Passengers
and drivers all sit back to back inside a strengthened frame.
Paul has cunningly fitted a set of brake lights inside the rear
car's headlights. Paul, who comes from Somerset in England,
said he did it because wife said it couldn't be done. He doesn't
even like Morris Minors!
