Flamin' Short

This van was once shown on the cover of an old Street Machine magazine in amongst a brace of other hotrods and street machines at a show. I never expected to see it again. But happily it turned up at a local hotrod meeting and I duly had a look.

Surprisingly, it still looks great. I had expected it to look well worn after several years of use since the magazine photo. As far as I can tell there isn't a V8 under the bonnet, but just what it is I couldn't see. In the back there's a set of rear-facing seats. It must be pretty claustrophobic in there!
