James Bond-007 In:
Agent Under Fire

From: Electronic Arts

Year: 2001

Format: Playstation 2

Comments:

This is EA's first Bond game without a corresponding movie. The game is pretty much a first person shooting game (mission based) but there are a couple of driving levels in there too. Looks good, plays good and has a four player deathmatch like Goldeneye. Definitely worth a go.

James Bond in China helping fishermen

Comments:

Released as an alternative to Rare's Goldeneye for Nintendo's less powerful portable console. It takes the form of a side scrolling RPG with James Bond having to find objects and help people in order to farther his mission. An okay game.

007 vs international terrorism

Comments:

In the eighties and early ninties Domark owned the license to make Bond games. If a film came out then they, and only they, could make a game of it. But the problem was that they stopped making the films. Between 1989 (License To Kill) and 1995 (Goldeneye) no Bond films were made. Domark's Bond license ran out in the early ninties so they made this as their last. It isn't based on any Bond movie (because there wasn't one at the time). It is a platform action game dated even more by the fact that it features Timothy Dalton as Bond on the title screen (as he was the last one) then a few years later there was a new film and a new Bond.

James Bond Jnr

From: THQ

Year: 1992

Format: Super Nintendo

James Bond Jnr in action

Comments:

Based on the short lived TV cartoon about James Bond's Nephew called, coincidently, James Bond Jnr. The game is a pretty standard looking platform action game. There are plenty of cut scenes explaining the plot and all the regular characters make an appearance. There are shoot-em-up sequences too which help make the game a little more varied. Not a bad game.

Other versions of James Bond Jnr:

Format: NES

From: THQ

Year: 1992

Comments: Quite a fun platform game. Nice music, good graphics and good fun.
