This year's event will be sponsored 100% by Diversa. This would allow all employees from secretaries to scientists to participate at no cost to the employee. By providing each golfer with free torment giveaways and lots of raffle prizes will make this event fun for all employees. Lunch will be provided for all golfers as part of this year's tournament. We have a budget of $100 per golfer. This overall budget cost includes: golf fees with cart, the lunches, the costs of trophies, the raffle prizes, and torment giveaways.

The biggest risk would be that it rains on the day of the tournament. By scheduling the golf torment during the summer months minimizes the potential risk for rain. If we do get a heavy rain the day of the golf tournament the course will be closed and they will refund our deposit or we can reschedule for another day. Another risk is to ensure that we have plenty of volunteers to help with pre-registration on the day of the golf tournament. By giving the committee plenty of scheduled time to plan out all of the day's events will help ensure an organized event that flows smoothly with minimal risk and no problems.
