
Once we have commitment from the golf course and a caterer the rest of the tasks can be scheduled in any order. These remaining tasks breakdown into three key areas, they are:
1. Shop trophies, raffle prizes, and tournament giveaways.
2. Design and develop all marketing material for the event announcement.
3. "Day of the Golf tournament Event" organizing and planning.
The golf tournament tasks 1 & 2 listed above need to be completed by the August 20 date and can be done in parallel by the committee. This way by the time the tournament is announced to the employees all of the golf tasks will be done but the "Day of the Event" planning. This gives the committee members at least one month for the "Day of the Event" planning. It is important that we leave enough time for this planning task, so that we are organized and things run smoothly. If on our golf day, we are not organized and ready it could take all of the fun out of the event for the employees. There is nothing more frustrating than a disorganized and poorly planned event. This would defeat the propose of why we are planning this event.
