the Storyteller and I welcome you to this Hall of Muse. It is here that
I shall begin my tale of THE LAMP and the street urchin named Aladdin,
and from thence shall I transport you to some of the most enchanted places
in the history of fable.
It is an old tale, full of characters so familiar that they are almost friends. And because it is my recording of the tale, it shall be an entirely new retelling, full of the splendour of light and colour and sound that all of my magic can bring.
