THE PELVIS
The pelvic area of the body is represented on the foot just over the and above the pad of the heel the level of the pelvic floor on the foot runs in an imaginary line across the pad of the heel between the anklebones., Reflexes relating to areas of the pelvis are also found on the outer side of the foot
This is the Pelvic muscle reflex
The reflex for the sacro-iliac joint at the side of the heel
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE ABDOMEN
The reflex area for the abdomen is between the levels of the diaphragm(just bellow the ball of each foot and the pelvis) a line between the ankle bones running across the foot In this area are the reflexes for parts of the digestive system including the stomach, liver, gallbladder, and intestines parts of the urinary system, including the kidneys and the ureta tubes( which drain the kidneys), parts of the hormonal system, including the pancreas and the adrenal glands, and the spleen.
The reflex to the liver is found only on the right foot, in the area between diaphragm and waist level in a triangular shape the reflex to the gall blader is found just bellow the liver reflex and just above the waist level
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE SPINE
The reflex to the spine is found down the inner side of the foot in both feet, following the bony arch of the foot from the side of the big toe to the back of the heel Along the spine reflex are reflexes for the upper part of the spine (cervical or neck region) reflexes forthe middle or thoracic region, reflexes for the lower ( lumber) region, and reflexes for the tail bone and sacrum(bottom of the spine) Treatment begins at the top of the reflex area to the spine, and works down the inner edge of the heel
The reflex for the thoracic(middle) region of the spine can be found along the edge of the first metatarshal bonedown to waist level
The reflex for the upper part of the spine the cervical or neck region, is located along the edge of the bog toe
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE HEAD AND NECK
The reflex areas for the head and neck area are found in the areas of the toes in both feet and, in addition, the whole of the head can be presented within the big toe area on each foot
on the sole of the big toe, the top of the toe represents the top of the head, the outer side represents the outer side of the head and the base represents the back of the head The reflex to the pituitary gland is near the center of the pad of the big toe
Around the base of the big toe just above where it joins the foot, is the reflex to the neck The base of the big toe represents the back of the neck. The side of the base of the big toe represents the seventh cervical, or last vertebra in the neck, where many of the nerves of the arm and hand pass.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE CHEST
The reflexes to the chest area can be found on the sole of the foot in the area between the level of the shoulder girdle (roughly the base of the toes)and the diaphragm (or waist) area which sits just below the ball of each foot and in a similar area on the top of the foot
--------------------------
The chest area on the foot contains reflexes to the following parts of the respiratory system, including the trachea, windpipe, bronchi (air passage) and lungs;the heart;the esophagus(down which food travels, from the mouth to the stomach) the thyroid and and the parathyroid glands; the ribs and the sternum. The chest area of the foot is also the site of reflex points for important structures that lead to the digestive system and contains the nerve that controls the diaphragm
-------------
The reflexes for the thyroid gland
are on the outer edge of the the ball
of the big toe on both feet,
----------
The four small parthyroid glands affect levels of calcium and phosphorus in the body The lower parathyroid reflexes are located at the lower outer edge of the ball of the big toe. -------------
The upper parathyroid reflexes can be found at the upper outer edge of the ball of the big toe on each foot ------------
The reflexes to the lung are found over the ball of the foot .The reflex to the bronchi extends across the lower part of the ball of the big toe into the lung area- from the reflex to the trachea which is found down the inner edge of the sole of the foot from the base of the big toe to near the base of the ball of the big toe
