About Me

My name is Rita, I have been married for thirty four years.
I live in Essex in the Uk
I have two boys Paul and Jason,
and two gorgeous grandsons, Sam and George.
I see them every weekend, they certainly keep you fit.
Sam is six years old (going on twenty)
and George is four, he is a shy little boy.

My interests...are art...poetry...and now the computer.
I have always loved looking at art, and wished that I could paint,
but as I cant draw very well I never thought it was possible
until my friend Pat who is an artist got me started.
I was surprised at what I could do.
I had a lot of help and tips from Pat.
I also love poetry I like to read a good poem
and I have done some poetry in the past. I entered a competion
a few years ago and I was surprised to get it published.
I dont do as much poetry or painting since I got the computer
about fifteen months ago. I would like to put some
poetry on this site, some are my own, and some
that I quite like by other poets.
