Jello Biafra doesn't own the rights to Dead Kennedys songs any more, despite writing them.....We don't own the rights either, but that doesn't stop us playing them!

The "Dead Kennedys" touring at the moment without Jello seems laughable as his political insight is what made DK one of the most important punk rock bands. Far from being a "tribute" band, we are just a bunch of punks who realise how important DK were and are having a laugh recreating some of the atmosphere that pervades their music.

Songs like "Police Truck" still have relevance with the recent gang beating by the LA PD of a young black man with learning disabilities and impaired sight. "Bleed For Me" is still as relevant with the activities of cowboy president George W strikingly similar to those of cowboy president Reagan. The CIA still unleash terror on the world in the name of a "War on Terror" in what is really a war for profit.......See the links at the bottom of this page for more information.
