Graemsay.jpg (119702 bytes) The Metcalf Mouldings kit of the Scottish inter-island ferry, Graemsay.  Some of the detail is incorrect and others clumsy, but the finished model repays the effort, and handles well with independent throttle control, even without using the installed bow thruster.

Built and owned by Steve Booty

Verity.jpg (52603 bytes) A beautiful model of the IOW Yarmouth Nelson 40 pilot cutter 'Verity', built from the old Modelcraft kit, builder unknown.  Arthur saw this in a model shop window in Shrewsbury, and the rest as they say was history!

Owned by Arthur Cass

Gordon.jpg (179457 bytes) A scratch built, freelance pleasure cruiser.  Built out of scrap materials with no previous experience, no plans, no help .......  For a first attempt, a good effort.

Built and owned by Gordon Milner

Barrelback.jpg (52968 bytes)

The Dumas kit, this is a Chris Craft Barrelback speedboat

Built by Gordon Clarke, owned by Stuart Robertson

Jessica.jpg (32371 bytes) Fireboat Jessica, a freelance scratch build on an old power boat hull bought at a club auction.
ts2.jpg (46045 bytes) Tsekoa II, built from the Model Slipway kit.  A very striking model with the large crane on the stern, and very manoeuvrable with twin independent screws and a bow thruster.
