A note taken from the AEFA Page:
The Australian Electric Flight Association has
the objective of sharing information about all aspects of electric flight from
beginners to experts. It also plays a role in organising fun- fly, demonstration
and competition events and has applied to become the body representing Electric
Flight for both the National body, MAAA, and the VMAA, vic body. Anyone is
welcome to attend the monthly meetings in Victoria, but, of course in order to
fly, you should be a paid up member of a model air craft club for insurance
purposes. A annual subscription of $15.00 applies to cover the cost of the
monthly newsletter.
A small charge of $2.00 per person is made to
cover the cost of hall hire, tea and coffee for Victorian meetings which are
held.
Monthly Meeting Location:
Uniting Church, Essex
Road, near corner of Park Road, Mount Waverley (Melways map 61 ref d10 ) 4th
Thursday each month, except December 8.00pm-11.00pm
Note:
Interstate members are welcome to join and receive a monthly newsletter on
current events, topics raised in previous months meeting (including model
reviews, new products, notification of events & competitions, etc), plus
other articles on electric flight.
