AEFA: January 2001 Meeting Pictures
On the 25/01/2001, the first AEFA meeting was held for the year. It was DAMN HOT that night, with only one small tacker of a ceiling fan turning its heart out.

Don's Trixie powered by in-line-geared (4:1) Speed400 motor with 11 x 8 folding prop, 7 x 600.

Air intake for motor and battery cooling.

Don's also brought in his OHM maiden

Gear 1.85:1 Speed 400 7.2v motor, 7 x 600AE's

T Tail connection, screw attached.

Vented forward hatch, and rear exit vent.

Full running gear shown.

Other model discussions included seven cell gliders, Speed 400 pylon modelling and a new geared Speed300 motor with incredible performance (420grams of thrust from 500mah x 7) which is being imported by AEFA member Knut Neumann (knut@netspace.net.au).
