Love knows no boundaries
Neither sex, nor race, nor colour
There are no limitations
When the emotions take hold
And the passion grows
There is no holding back
But those around you
May curse and object
Try to change the way you feel
Should the heart rule the head?
Or should your love conquer all?
You have to decide
When those around you turn their back
You only have one person to call on
For the rest of your life
For richer, for poorer
Come what may
And if they quote the bible to you
What can you say?
Even The Lord it seems is against you
I thought the bible taught us tolerance and understanding
Not hatred and injustice
You have to find your own way through
Hopefully your love will be strong enough to survive
In time viewpoints change
In time we may all be free to love who we choose
