How to Catch TVGhosts
As
with ALL paranormal phenomena, capturing a TVGhost requires more
luck than skill. Nearly all the times you try you won't succeed,
but if you follow the below advice, your chances will be improved...
Most importantly, make sure that the TV is off at all times. Then there will be no confusion when the photos are developed and examined.
Out of nearly all of the TVGhost examples I've seen, they seem to turn up most frequently when there's some kind of family gathering going on, so perhaps try for them when there are a lot of people in the room. They can turn up at any time of the day.
Most of the time, TVGhosts are captured when the photographer isn't not taking a photograph for that purpose. So on some occasions just forget you're trying to capture a TVGhost while using your camera, then inpect the photos after.
However, sometimes TVGhosts can be caught while intentionally trying to photograph them. The best way to capture them intentionally is to dim the lights and to set your camera up on a tripod, or to rest it on something that'll give you a shot of he TV screen without holding the camera. Then for about a minute with your finger resting gently on the shutter you should completely rest yourself. You could say a prayer, meditate softly, or to will them into appearing for you but as long as it completely focusses you to the task in hand it shouldn't matter. After around a minute, press the shutter button.
Capturing crystal clear faces in the TV screen is rare, so when examining the results they could be faint or small. If you have a scanner, or you took the photos with a digital camera, a good idea would be to transfer it into your PC and to enhance the contrast, colour resolutions and size using a photo editing program.
I cannot guarantee that any of these will bring 100% results, but it should give you a better chance of capturing something.
